Meet Our Pastor

Passionate About Inspiring Others

Allie Crowe came to us after completing a year-long residency as a Chaplain at WellSpan York Hospital.  Although a native to the area, she spent most of her life in Wisconsin after short stays in Tennessee, Georgia and Connecticut.  Her family has always been a part of the Christ-following community and raised her to have the understanding that her relationship with God comes first in her life.

Allie was raised with the theological principals of the Church of the Brethren even though most of her life she participated in a Methodist church.  As she began to realize her calling to ministry, she wasn't keen on being a Pastor.  Life gave her plenty of twists and turns along her journey until she finally decided not to fight God and join him.

At 26, she started her master's degree at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, while working and residing in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Seminary excited her initially, and it became clear that the theology and lifestyle she was brought up in would clash with her schoolmates' different points of view.  The end of her degree required her internship and clinical education.  This eventually relocated her out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and into York, Pennsylvania.  While at WellSpan as a chaplain, she began to understand her natural calling of spiritual care.  She determined she would never return to church ministry again, but God had other plans.  As her residency was ending, she began hunting for work as she didn't have a new job and no previous job to return to.  Her interest in chaplaincy left her applying to new jobs, yet God was opening a door she least expected.  The Westernport church was looking for a new pastor as their current pastor was retiring.  This church was near and dear to her heart as her family had been attending this church for decades.  Even as she grew, this church was always where she felt at home, no matter where she lived.  She was asked to take over and has been thrilled to be home after 30 years.

Besides the church being her first priority, she works as a title clerk and office assistant at Timbrook Nissan.  Allie is a firm believer that learning should never stop.  In striving to better herself as a spiritual caregiver and counselor, she took on the doctoral program at Liberty University.  On July 6, 2024, she defended her doctoral work and was awarded her degree of Doctor of Ministry: Pastoral Counseling.
